Dysart water quality getting better
The U.S. Geological Survey found that water quality in the U.S. has improved for the first time since 2008. In 2010, scientists said that levels of bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoan parasites were declining.
The Environmental Working Group, a Washington, D.C.-based environmental advocacy group, said that for the first time, data shows that bacteria levels are increasing.
It said the study’s conclusion that the decrease is a result of improved public health concerns is backed by the fact that water is not as heavily polluted as it has been for years.
There are three categories of diseases and treatments that are treated.
The first is bacterial diarrhea, which comes from contaminated water.
The second is a bacterial infection that results from dia여수출장안마rrhea.
The third is a bacterial infection called acute gastroenteritis.
“We can see a number of different things,” said Eric Miller, a spokesman for the state of Missouri. “The number of people who don’t have symptoms, don’t have diarrhea, who are not treated with antibiotics is down subst룰렛antially, and there’s a better understanding of what is causing [Bacteria], where it is, and wha로투스 홀짝t we have to be doing.”
One possible explanation for the improvement was that water with a higher concentration of chlorine, which is a disinfectant, has fewer bacteria in it. That, in turn, may mean fewer people need to be treated for acute gastroenteritis, Miller said.
